VIM JT-Direct Inkjet Plates provide an alternative to existing high-cost CTP laser based solutions:  cost-efficient offset quality 4-Up plate setting using existing standard Inkjet printers with standard ink cartridges. The imaged plates, in both Aluminum based and Polyester based versions, require no processing and are hardened (baked) in standard heating systems. Providing high quality output and extensive long runs on any standard 4-Up water-based one to four color press, VIM JT-Direct Inkjet Plates  make computer to plate solutions affordable for even the smallest format commercial print shops,  and extend the offerings of high-end shops. Affordable- VIM JT-Direct Inkjet Plates provide for the lowest cost of ownership compared to  any existing CTP system. The cost is simply that of a standard high quality Inkjet printer such as the Epson Stylus ® 4880/7880/7900. User Friendly -  VIM JT-Direct Inkjet Plates are easy to use, do not change the printer’s work flow and use the same RIP Inkjet  cartridges which the operator is familiar with. Environment Friendly - VIM JT-Direct Inkjet Plates are process-less and no chemicals or solvent based inks are used in the post-imaging process.  Efficient – Proof and plate imaging are done on the same printer using the same ink cartridges.   Compact – VIM JT-Direct Inkjet Plates provide for an extremely low system footprint CTP solution.
